The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation expressed protest to Chisinau over plans to assist in the training of military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Moldovan territory with the participation of instructors from NATO countries. The Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to the Russian Federation, Lilian Darius, was summoned to the department.
“A strong protest was made to the Ambassador of Moldova in connection with the unfriendly actions of Chisinau. If they continue, Russia reserves the right to additional retaliatory measures,” it is reported on official website Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
The department noted that the ambassador was pointed out that the training of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers was unacceptable, leading to the erosion of the neutral status of Moldova and its direct involvement in hostilities on the side of the Kyiv regime. Darius was informed of the decision to block entry into Russian territory for a number of persons from the Republic of Moldova in response to the actions of the leadership of Chisinau.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation protested to the Moldovan side due to the persecution of Russian-language media. The leadership of the Republic of Moldova continues to make aggressive statements of an anti-Russian nature.
