Journalist Carlos Loret de Mola presented this Wednesday in Latinus the second part of the report “El Clan”, regarding influence peddling by Gonzálo “Bobby” López Beltrán, son of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
The EL UNIVERSAL columnist writes this Wednesday in El Gran Diario de México the text “Bobby and his father the president”, a column in which he tells “how corruption works within the factory: coyoted by the President’s children and milked through his closest friends.”

When questioned regarding the report presented by Loret de Mola, President López Obrador attacked the journalist.
In his morning conference this Wednesday, January 10 at the National Palace, López Obrador called the journalist “corrupt” and once once more challenged him to exchange goods.

“He has a lot of money, nothing more than he tells me today; Furthermore, his readers deserve it because there are still many people who believe him, just tell me today, no more, how much he earns, because I am sure that he earns more than a million pesos a month as a journalist.
“If what ministers earn seems like a lot to us, 700 thousand pesos per month, imagine one million per month,” said López Obrador.
