Renowned Italian interior artist Joe Bresana has opened his first showroom in the Middle East, in the creative destination of the Emirates, Dubai Design District (D3), where the inspiring space reflects the artist’s mastery of murals and furniture design, within an inclusive environment that redefines the boundaries of artistic expression.
With pioneering skill blending historical art styles, including Baroque, Gothic, Neoclassical, Impressionism, Freedom and Modernism, the gallery presents Bresana’s first concept for art and interior design, the “Hidden Garden”. The wall is decorated with a mural that embodies the artist’s creative taste, and displays an ethereal garden reminiscent of oriental botanical rice paper paintings in the nineteenth century.
With a careful blend of beauty and practicality, the studio’s special collection of 10 unique furniture pieces was designed by Bresanna and his creative design partner Simone Chevalier, and handcrafted by Italian craftsmen. The special collection includes a lamp meticulously crafted from burnt stones to resemble a blooming magnolia tree, and two coffee tables made of rock crystal and semi-precious stones. The ethereal sofa evokes the timeless elegance of lacquered Coromandel dividers, reminiscent of Coco Chanel’s famous designs. These wonderful pieces are complemented by two sculptures of a bear and a bag, in addition to an elegant table made of white agate with legs that Joe painted himself.
Customization is at the core of Bresana’s artistic philosophy. Each environment is carefully created to be an unrepeatable masterpiece, designed specifically according to the client’s wishes. By understanding emotional triggers and desired experiences, Bresana crafts custom, expressive creations in tangible living environments. The new studio promises to offer a revolutionary, bespoke “design story” service, pushing the boundaries of creativity and luxury.
Joe Bresana said: “I am very much looking forward to opening our first showroom outside Italy in Dubai, which is a growing global center for the arts. In “The Hidden Garden,” I see our home environments through a lens that captures the colors, shapes, and deep connection I feel with nature. It’s all regarding aligning materials with the concept of sustainability to create spaces that enrich physical and mental comfort. “This is my vision of a truly perfect design.”
He added: “I wanted to create a three-dimensional space in which people might feel the emotions of the room and the artist. This new concept of live art is brought to life in the “Hidden Garden” collection, the first of many collections. I am a huge fan of the Orient Express, and I hope to take people to the most magical places with my art. We very much look forward to welcoming visitors to the studio.”
