From the ARGE Jazz Band Baden to “Magic pur!” in Schwechat
St.Pölten (OTS) – On Thursday, January 11th, the ARGE Jazz Band Baden will open the new “Jazz Café Project” year in the Theater am Steg in Baden. Each of the ARGE Jazz members brings their own compositions and arrangements that evening, from which a joint program is then put together. Starts at 7 p.m.; Admission: free donation. In the Haus der Kunst in Baden, Univ.-Prof. Anna Malikova will introduce the pianist Seika Ishida, born in Japan in 1997, and the pianist Mirabelle Kajenjeri, born in France in 1998, on Thursday, January 11th, from 7 p.m. in the “Young International Master Pianists” series. At the Old Depot in Mistelbach, Reinhard Reiskopf & Friends will celebrate the King of Rock’n’Roll in two “Elvis Birthday Nights” on Thursday, January 11th and Friday, January 12th, starting at 7:30 p.m., and will present a cross-section of his performance Hits from 1956 to the 1970s. On Friday, January 12th, the Academia Allegro Vivo will be playing the children’s participatory concert “The Little Prince” in the Weinviertel Concert Hall in Ziersdorf from 5 p.m., at which children aged four and over will perform works by Johann Strauss, Fritz Kreisler and Antonin Dvořák as well as texts by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry experienced the unifying power of music. With compositions by their conductor and the Strauss dynasty, the Waldviertler Symphoniker under Daniel Muck will perform their New Year’s concert on Sunday, January 14th in the Zwettl town hall. On Monday, January 15th, the kindergarten concert “Frau Dr. Crescendo in search of the missing harmony” with the duo Anne-Suse Enßle and Philipp Lamprecht and the actress Monika Sigl-Radauer.
