The Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN) launched a bold new comprehensive reform on January 1, 2019 that has repositioned the UN development system to achieve more effective and efficient results in achieving the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As part of this reform, the offices of UN Resident Coordinators, under the leadership of the empowered and independent Resident Coordinator Chief Country Team – the most senior official in the UN development system and representative of the Secretary General of the UN at the national level – support countries in achieving their development priorities and achieving STRANGE.
This position is located in the Resident Coordinator Office in Libreville (Gabon) and reports to the Head of the Resident Coordinator Office (RCO).
Within delegated authority, the Driver is responsible for the following duties: (Summary of Key Functions)
• Provision of safe and reliable services
• Proper use of the vehicle
• Daily maintenance of the assigned vehicle
• Monitoring availability and validity of regulatory documents and supplies.
