Cooler Master has just hit hard regarding the world of workstations. In fact, the brand announces the power supply Cooler Master X Mighty Platinum 2000. A block capable of powering no less than four NVIDIA RTX 4090s and two Xeon/EPYC processors.
One PSU to Rule Them All: Meet the Cooler Master X Mighty Platinum 2000
While a few days ago we discovered a 1100W fanless power supply, this new power supply is just as impressive in its category. This block is designed to meet the requirements of the most energy-hungry configurations. As a result, it is officially announced as supporting a duo of Intel Xeon or AMD EPYC CPUs or four NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards. Indeed, a build with four cards requires no less than 1800W of power.
For cooling, Cooler Master uses a Mobius fan as well as an advanced heat pipe heatsink. A system already mentioned by the company last year during Computex.

Thanks to the software MasterCTRL from Cooler Master, users of the X Mighty and X Silent series can monitor temperatures, fan speeds and efficiency levels of their power supply whenever they want. It is also possible to control certain parameters of the power supplies. Unfortunately, we don’t yet know exactly what is controllable in the software.
