A singer and actor was arrested by the police on charges of causing a car accident and refusing to take a breathalyzer test.
Seoul Suseo Police Station announced on the 7th that it arrested Mr. Kim on charges of refusing to take a breathalyzer test under the Road Traffic Act at around 3:30 a.m. on December 29 last year in the area of Nambusunhwan-ro, Ilwon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
According to the police, Mr. Kim, who was driving the vehicle at the time, changed course and collided with the vehicle ahead of him, causing an accident. The police who arrived at the scene asked him to take a breathalyzer test, but Mr. Kim refused. The police arrested Mr. Kim and took him to the police station, but Mr. Kim eventually refused to take a breathalyzer test. Accordingly, the police booked Mr. Kim on charges of refusing a breathalyzer test and plan to summon Mr. Kim once more next week for questioning.
Mr. Kim’s license was revoked following he was caught drunk driving regarding 10 years ago. Mr. Kim said, “I have nothing to say. “I’m sorry,” he said.
