Cumin, according to the digital space, has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and vasodilating properties, which help reduce blood pressure in the body. This product promotes the production of nitric oxide, in addition to reducing inflammation and oxidative stress.

One of the ways to take advantage of this characteristic of cumin is to prepare an infusion. The steps to follow are:

  • In a pot, boil a liter of water.
  • Once the water starts to bubble, add 20 grams of cumin seeds.
  • Let it boil for two more minutes so that its properties are released.
  • Lower the flame a little and leave it there for 10 more minutes.
  • After the time has passed, lower the heat and strain.
  • Add a little honey to give it a better flavor.
  • Drink a cup of the infusion following each meal to reduce stomach gas.

    As mentioned previously, cumin is rich in iron and magnesium, something that is very helpful for nursing mothers, as well as women during their menstruation or who are pregnant, since they need more iron than usual.
