Russian President Vladimir Putin promised to solve problems with payments to the families of deceased SVO participants in the regions. This statement was made by the Russian leader at a meeting with the heroes’ relatives at his residence in Novo-Ogarevo near Moscow.
“We need to recognize the fact of permanent registration or conscription or signing of a contract from where the person left. I’ll definitely mark it and we’ll take care of it,” Putin said in response to a meeting participant’s request to solve problems with regional payments when a fighter does not have permanent registration in his region of residence.
On Christmas Eve, Putin met with the families of military personnel killed during the Northern Military District, writes RT. He had a conversation with the relatives of the heroes of Russia and invited them to a festive dinner. The Russian leader called the meeting signal for officials in the regions, bearing in mind the need to support the families of fighters throughout the country.
