Washington, January 4 (QNA) – Apple withdrew the second beta version of the iOS 17.3 update hours following its launch, due to complaints from users that iPhone phones crashed following downloading and installing the update.

Apple removed the new beta versions of iOS 17.3 and iPadOS 17.3 updates from the Developer Center, and these versions are no longer available for users to download and install.

Many complaints appeared on social media sites, Apple’s official technical support forum, and other specialized forums regarding iPhone phones malfunctioning following installing the new version of the update, as iPhone phones became stuck in the boot loop and stopped at the start of operation, as this is considered… The problem is disastrous for users who may not be able to use their devices once more without restoring the factory settings, which leads to the deletion of all its contents and the loss of important files and data in the absence of a backup copy.

Some users explained that the malfunction of iPhone phones with the new update may be related to the (Back Tap) feature, but that matter is not clear yet in light of the lack of an official comment from the company following the update was withdrawn, and fortunately, the trial version has been withdrawn. The second iOS 17.3 update took place following only three hours, and the update was only available to developers and not all users.

It is worth noting that Apple is currently testing the iOS 17.3 beta update, which will provide users with some improvements and new features, including the feature of protecting stolen phones.
