According to DRESS (Directorate of Research, Studies, Evaluation and Statistics), in 2021, 9.3 million French people provide regular assistance to a loved one with a disability or loss of autonomy. Among them, young people become caregivers for their elders. Accompaniment to medical appointments, assistance with household or administrative tasks, hygiene measures, financial assistance, etc. This help can take various forms.
