Mountain rescue teams were able to rescue a slightly injured four-legged friend who had been involved in an accident on New Year’s Day.
On Monday followingnoon, the dog belonging to a Czech vacationing family fell regarding 70 meters in the Schafberg area. The family in question, three teams from the St. Gilgen mountain rescue team and 14 firefighters searched the area. On Tuesday followingnoon, a drone’s thermal imaging camera finally recorded a sign of life from “Gaia”. The animal crouched under a ledge. It was recovered with minor injuries.
