On holidays, you should follow a routine, going to bed and waking up at the same time. You also need to monitor your emotional state and give yourself time to rest. Such advice was given by SberHealth psychologist Daria Yakub.

“On holidays, you should not sleep off the entire previous year. Instead, it’s better to go to bed and get up at the same time. <…> If you don’t have the energy following a noisy feast, you can arrange a relaxing day with a book, your favorite movie or a hobby,” Daria Yakub shared in a conversation with RT. She advised to always monitor your emotional state, alternating between vigorous activity and simple rest.

The specialist condemned resting with gadgets in hand. She noted that this type of leisure can lead to serious health problems.

Previously, psychologists stated that a person won’t be able to rest while viewing social networks or consuming content, since in this case the brain continues to work and analyze information. Experts also explained how go to work correctly following long holidays. They advised me to smoothly integrate into the work process.
