According to the timetable approved and decided by the Professionalism and Players Status Committee in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Football Association has officially decided the start of the winter Mercato season, which is the second registration period for the 2023-2024 season.
The Saudi Football Federation announced, during the official infographic that was published on the Federation’s official account on social media, the start of the registration period at the beginning of the first hours of the new Gregorian year 2024, for the Roshen Professional League clubs, in addition to the Yellow League for first-class clubs and the second and third leagues.

The Saudi Football Federation also clarified that the winter Mercato period for the aforementioned leagues begins from the first day of January until January 30 of this year.
The Saudi Football Association also announced that the winter Mercato period will include the following leagues and dates:
- Saudi Roshan League from January 1 to 30.
- Yellow League from January 1 to 30.
- Second Division League from January 1 to January 30.
- Third Division League from January 1 to 30.
- Fourth Division League from January 1 to February 5.
- Senior League from January 1 to March 10.
- Women’s Premier League from January 1 to January 31.
- Women’s First Division League from January 1 to January 31.
