In this period of inflation, the State is offering several measures to cope with the rising costs of electricity and gas.

This is very bad news for the French! THE electricity price and more gas will explode in the months to come. And for good reason ! The release of the “rate shield”, launched in fall 2021, is finally underway.

Certain state aid allows you to reduce gas bills and of electricity. For example, there is the energy check for an amount ranging between 48 euros and 277 euros. More than 5 million households can reach it.

And that’s not all ! Because the State also offers the tariff shield on electricity. Among those eligible, there are residential customers and small local authorities. As well as people living in non-interconnected areas.
The state also helps businesses. There are nudges. For example, an association can benefit from the price shield on electricity.
A co-ownership company can count on the “collective housing” price shield to cope with rising energy prices. And that’s not all ! Because local authorities can also count on the State.
Some are entitled to lower taxes on electricity, and the tariff shield. Quite interesting isn’t it! But beware ! To be eligible, they must employ at least 10 full-time workers. And prove revenues of up to 2 million euros.
Moreover ! It is also necessary to contract a power less than or equal to 36 kVa. And be eligible for the sales rates of electricity (TRVe).
The State is therefore releasing advantageous aid during this very difficult period. Eh yes ! During inflation, the purchasing power of the French weakens day by day. Added to this is the rise in prices in other areas such as food for example.
So don’t hesitate to apply to receive one of these aids. Make sure beforehand that you meet all the conditions required to be eligible.
