New Delhi: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu will participate in the Ram Temple dedication ceremony even if he is not invited.
The Himachal Chief Minister’s reaction comes at a time when the Congress High Command is yet to clarify whether he will follow the invitation to the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya or not.
‘Not yet received an invitation. He will go to Ayodhya whether he is invited or not,’ Sukhwinder Singh Sukh told the media.
It is estimated that the chief minister had to say that he would go ahead with the inauguration even when the leadership remained silent because the majority of people in the Hindu majority state of Himachal Pradesh have a positive attitude towards the Ram temple.
AICC is yet to respond to Sukhwinder Singh’s statement. Earlier, the high command had warned the leaders not to make public reactions on the Ayodhya issue. It is also advised not to fall into BJP’s trap.
Former Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge received an official invitation from the Congress.
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah also responded that he was never once morest the Ram Temple.
