The organization of the “Río de la Plata Series” cup confirmed the calendar of friendly matches that will feature the participation of San Lorenzo, Huracán, Newell’s Old Boys, Rosario Central, Belgrano, Atlético Tucumán, Vélez, Gimnasia La Plata and Unión de Santa Fe.
The summer tournament will take place in Uruguay, from Wednesday, January 10 to Tuesday, January 23, 2024, and will be broadcast on the Star+ and ESPN Premium signal.
The confirmed Uruguayan teams are Nacional, Peñarol, Cerro, Liverpool, River, Cerro Largo, Deportivo Maldonado, Defensor Sporting and Danubio.
They were also summoned Colo Colo of Chile, Vasco da Gama of Brazil (directed by Riojano Ramón Ángel Díaz) and César Vallejo University of Peru.
