Moroccan Cinematographic Center (CCM) Grants 25 Million Dirhams to Support Digitization and Modernization of Cinemas

The Commission to support the digitization, modernization and creation of cinemas under the Moroccan Cinematographic Center (CCM), has decided to grant a total of 25 million dirhams in support of a number of national cinemas.

In a press release, the CCM indicates that following examination and deliberation, the said Commission decided, exceptionally, to grant total aid of 25 MDH, in order to allow a greater number of cinemas to benefit from support for digitization, modernization and creation of cinemas, in addition to encouraging the creation of new cinemas in the different regions of the Kingdom.

Concerning the creation of cinemas, aid was allocated to the cinemas “Cinerji Morocco Mall” (Casablanca, 4 MDH), “Cinerji –le 25 Square Dar Bouazza” (Casablanca, 4 MDH), “Cinerji Green City – Bouskoura” (Casablanca, 4 MDH), “Cinerji Kenitra” (4 MDH), “Cinerji Agadir” (4 MDH), and “Alborj in Ouzoud (Azilal, 4 MDH), the press release said.

Regarding aid for the digitalization of cinemas, the Commission has decided to allocate aid of 500,000 dirhams to each of the cinemas of “Eden Club A” and “Eden Club B” in Casablanca, adds the same source .

The Commission to support the digitization, modernization and creation of cinemas was held under the chairmanship of Mohamed Khouna, in the presence of its members Amina Saibari, Dalal Seddiki, Khadija Laabid, Samira Himeur, Mohammed Hassan Belkady, Abdelillah Zirat and Ahmed Larhmam, concludes the press release.
