An unexpected look at familiar characters.
In the melodrama “Moscow Doesn’t Believe in Tears” the characters are complex and ambiguous. And how might it be otherwise: art imitates life.
There are no definitely negative characters here, but Lyudmila is usually counted among the not the most positive. She is a tenacious, tenacious girl, and in a sense cynical. Not like the romantic and kind Katya.
So it seems at first glance. If you delve a little deeper into the research and read the text of the book published by Valentin Chernykh, everything becomes not so clear.
For example, it turns out that Ekaterina did not start an affair with a married ministry employee, Petrov, for the sake of the relationship itself. The goal was much more prosaic: listen to him and gain experience. That is, the lady probably wanted to continue building her career.
She dated the functionary for two whole years. One day he interfered with her work affairs, for which Tikhomirova immediately took revenge on him: she criticized him live, so effectively that the man was demoted.
The author also notes her frivolous character. The partners in Katerina’s life were not limited to Rudolf, Petrov and Gosha. In her youth, she met the Czech Jiri, who later left for Prague.
“After this affair, something happened to Katerina. She suddenly began to easily start other novels, which most often ended following a few meetings.”writes Valentin Chernykh in a literary work.
