On Friday, December 22, during a reception at the Accent room, a check was presented, for a total amount of 18,073 euros and 45 cents, to Marie-Anne Watremetez, who represented the Toulouse cell of the Telethon. The check was given to him by Anne-Marie Chatelein, from the Pierre-André association. Marie-Anne Watremetz thanked with a short speech this donation which is added to all the donations received and which will be used to continue research on “rare” diseases.
Donors and associations participating in the day of December 9 were invited to this ceremony. Mr. Palustran, responsible for community life at the town hall, was also present, as well as the employees who each year participate in the smooth running of the day.
The names of the associations and companies contributing to the donations were presented in a video and they received a participation diploma. Individual donors can also request a tax receipt to benefit from tax deductions.
