Significant changes will take place at the Stib in the course of 2024. Work on the future line 10 which will connect Neder-Over-Hembeek to the city center is progressing. The line should be operational next September. With the arrival of tram 10, the Stib has decided to reorganize other tram lines according to our colleagues at the DH.
Lines 11 and 22 will thus see the light of day, confirms Stib. Tram 11 will run between Boondael and Esplanade and tram 22 between Rogier and Eurocontrol. This is the route through which tram 25 currently passes, which will disappear and will therefore be integrated into these two new sections.
Changes which will not take place before the end of September 2024 with the launch of the future line 10. To allow the latter to be connected to the current network, tram lines 3 and 7 will be partially interrupted from next January. Buses will operate between Docks and Esplanade for line 3 and between Docks and Heembeek for line 7. They will be in service until June 28, 2024.
