For many Montreal hockey fans, the duo formed by Martin McGuire on description and Dany Dubé on analysis is a luminary at this level. Even though they’re on radio rather than television, many people opt for this option because of the quality of both men’s work and the chemistry between them.
It’s not for nothing that they are still here following years of working together: the recipe works and the fans are there. This allows you to follow the match without even watching it, which is much easier said than done.
That said, during the Canadian’s next matches, the duo will be separated, while Dany Dubé will not be analyzing the Habs’ matches, as noted by McGuire this followingnoon on 98.5 FM.
Antoine Roussel will take his place, he who was alongside Martin McGuire last night during his speech to Sports Fans.
Cayden Primeau will get the start tomorrow in Carolina and as of midnight, NHL teams will be able to trade once more…

The good news is that according to McGuire, it wouldn’t be anything serious for Dubé: in fact, he would only be taking time off for the holidays and we should expect to see him return shortly.
He did not talk regarding the exact date of his longtime partner’s return, but it would still be quite surprising to see him return during the Canadiens’ current holiday trip.
Logically, it would be quite surprising if he decided to join the Habs by the end of his trip to the United States while he is enjoying his vacation, we agree.
It will therefore be up to Antoine Roussel to replace Dubé in the meantime, he who is increasingly present in the Montreal sports media landscape. He is a regular on 98.5 FM and has also been seen in an analysis role (studio) at TVA Sports.
I can’t wait to see what the result will be.
