The German wanted to descend into the valley in open terrain, but got into a steep gully and mightn’t go any further. She alerted the emergency services and was rescued above the Idbach by piste rescue and alpine police. The woman was exhausted and suffered from hypothermia, but was apparently uninjured, police said.
