After several rumors and leaks, iQOO presented new products at an event in China. In addition to a new TWS phone and a smartwatch, the Chinese manufacturer made the iQOO Neo 9 line official.
Composed of the iQOO Neo 9 and iQOO Neo 9 Pro, the cell phones offer premium looks, powerful specifications, a focus on high-level performance and competitive prices, intensifying competition with models such as the Redmi K70 and the Honor 90 GT.

The IQOO Neo 9 line has a 6.78-inch flat OLED screen with 1.5K resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and under-display fingerprint reader. There is also iQOO’s Q1 chip that promises to offer superior multimedia performance.
In the photographic set, the iQOO Neo 9 and IQOO Neo 9 Pro feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 main sensor with optical image stabilization. The first’s ultra-wide module is 8 megapixels, while the second’s is 50 megapixels. For selfies and video calls, both have a 16 megapixel front sensor.
Under the hood, the basic model features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform, while the Pro model features MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 SoC. Both feature up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. For thermal dissipation, there is the 6K VC liquid cooling system.
For energy, the IQOO Neo 9 line features a 5,160 mAh battery unit and 120W fast charging support. Other features include dual speakers, infrared sensor, X-axis linear motor, 5G connectivity and Wi-Fi 7. In the operating system, both come standard with Android 14 under the OriginOS 4 interface.
