Walkers in Wals-Siezenheim were amazed when they came across a “beaver alley” on the Walserberg. Last year there were around 300 beavers living in Salzburg, divided into 88 territories. The beaver is still spreading in Salzburg, says the beaver commissioner for the state of Salzburg.
