After several rumors and leaks, OPPO made a new A-line device official on the Indian market, the OPPO A59 5G. It hits the market as another affordable option from the Chinese manufacturer.
The highlights include an eye-catching design, 5G connectivity, large screen, MediaTek platform, dual camera module, robust battery and fast charging support.

In design, the OPPO A59 5G is 8.12 millimeters thick and has flat edges. It is IP54 certified for water and dust resistance, and is available in Silk Gold and Starry Black.
The cell phone features a 6.56-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution (1612 x 720 pixels), 90 Hz refresh rate, maximum brightness of 720 nits and a teardrop-shaped notch. Under the hood, there’s MediaTek’s Dimensity 6020 platform.
For power, the OPPO A59 5G features a 5,000 mAh battery unit and 33W fast charging support. As for the operating system, it comes standard with Android 13 under the ColorOS 13.1 interface.
In terms of photography, the device features a 13-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, there is an 8 megapixel front sensor.
Like other models in the segment, it supports a microSD card, headphone jack and USB-C port. For biometrics, there is a fingerprint reader on the side. Other features include 5G, 4G connectivity, Dual SIM USB-C port, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth v5.3.
