HOUSTON (AP) — Tyrese Haliburton had 33 points and 10 assists, in addition to hitting the go-ahead triple with one minute remaining, in the Indiana Pacers’ 123-117 victory over the Houston Rockets on Tuesday.
Indiana snapped a three-game losing streak. He won on the road for the first time since December 7.
Haliburton shot 13 of 21 from the field, including 7 of 13 from 3-point range.
Alperen Sengun led Houston with 30 points and 16 rebounds. He had just contributed 37 points, the highest statistic of his career, in Saturday’s game, a 106-104 victory over New Orleans.
On Tuesday, he added five assists and four steals.
Fred VanVleet made a layup with 1:50 left to give Houston a 117-115 lead, its first since the start of the third quarter. VanVleet finished with 18 points and nine assists.
