The National Airports Office (ONDA) is launching a new project to develop a living space outside Casablanca Mohammed V airport.
The ONDA Board of Directors, held on March 18, approved the completion of a certain number of projects, including that relating to the development of a new living space outside Casablanca airport. Mohammed V, indicates ONDA in a press release.
According to the same source, access to this airport being exclusively reserved for travelers, this large-scale project responds, through a complete metamorphosis of the exterior of the airport, to the needs of waiters and attendants, in terms of amenities and Services.
Thus, this new completely pedestrian zone, which extends over approximately 15,000 m², has been designed to be a place conducive to a pleasant waiting experience, explains the Office, emphasizing that it will be equipped with all the essential amenities thus offering a pleasant, practical and easy-going environment while waiting or dropping off.
The emphasis is placed on quality, comfort and well-being of users, with the presence of green spaces, benches, sanitary blocks that are pleasant to use, as well as cafes and shops, for a pleasant experience. “pleasant wait,” specifies ONDA.
Pending the completion of this structuring project planned for the end of 2024, ONDA currently offers this category of users two large, secure car parks equipped with elevators and toilet blocks which can accommodate 4,075 vehicles, drop-off areas well indicated, not cluttered and easy to access and screens displaying flight times, with adequate signage facilitating the orientation of users towards these spaces, notes the press release. According to the same source, this system is reinforced and adapted during peak periods (water and drinks dispensers, tables with chairs and parasols).
This new project demonstrates ONDA’s constant concern to meet the expectations of its customers by respecting the requirements of quality of service and hospitality, concludes the Office.
