As the new year approaches, some people are hesitant to make the resolution to quit smoking. The price of the package, which will increase from 50 cents to 1 euro depending on the brand on January 1, will probably convince some. The pack of Marlboro – the most sold in France – will thus increase to 12.50 euros. Announced last week, these new prices for cigarettes may have surprised the most informed smokers.
