This is made possible by a cooperation with main sponsor Linz AG. The namesake will now cover admission to the Steel Wings’ home games in the Alps Hockey League for the first 500 spectators – until the end of the season.
The free ticket required for entry to the games will be called “Linz AG Freikarte” and will be available at the box office and online. For the sake of the environment, it is not necessary to print out the card you purchased online. Showing the QR code on your cell phone is enough. All season ticket holders will receive a refund gift.

Modus
The regular season ends on January 6th – then the teams have played a return game once morest each opponent. The top 6 play for the starting position for the playoff pick in the Master Round. Acroni Jesenice is currently in sixth place with 42 points. The Steel Wings are 15 points behind in 13th place. There are currently seven rounds still to be completed, so on paper moving into the Master Round is still possible.
Places 7 to 16 will play in two qualifying round groups for a place in the pre-playoffs. These will be played in a best-of-three series by the group winners and the group runners-up following the first and second rounds before going into the quarter-finals. The group division according to the placement of the basic round:
- QR A: 7th place (6 bonus points), 10th place (3), 11th place (2), 14th place (0), 15th place (0)
- QR B: 8th place (5 bonus points), 9th place (4), 12th place (1), 13th place (0), 16th place (0)
The Steel Wings would currently compete in the Qualification Round B group from January 18th and play home and away games once morest Lustenau, Kitzbühel, Meran and Klagenfurt.
