The National Weather Service Weather Prediction Center warned on Monday (December 25) that a strengthening low pressure system will affect much of the central and eastern United States starting on Christmas Day, while blizzard conditions will occur in the central and northern Plains. , there will be heavy rains in the Midwest to Southeastern United States.

According to the National Weather Service, heavy snow and ice will fall across the Central Plains and Upper Midwest, with snowfall coverage and intensity varying throughout the Christmas period in northern Kansas, Nebraska and South Dakota. will increase.
