The big sister of the “I Want Candy” singer, who died in November 2022, has also died suddenly in Florida, in the United States.
Bobbie Jean Carter, the sister of singers Nick Carter and Aaron Carter, died suddenly on Saturday at the age of 41, reports the American tabloid TMZ. The causes of his death have not yet been revealed.
Interviewed by the news site, his mother, Jane Carter, said she was “in shock”. This is her third child that she has lost in the space of ten years. She said she would issue a press release in the coming hours.
The death of Bobbie Jean Carter comes a year following that of Aaron Carter. The I Want Candy singer died at age 34 in November 2022 following drowning in his bathtub.
Drug addiction
Their sister Leslie Carter also died at the age of 25 in 2012 from an overdose. “I need time to deal with the nightmare of going through this for the third time,” Jane Carter said.
