Al-Marsad newspaper: Family medicine consultant, Dr. Hani Al-Ghamdi, revealed the story of a person who took a nutritional supplement, and following days he did not remember the password for his bank account.

Al-Ghamdi said in a video clip circulated on the “X” platform that the person preferred to take supplements and vitamins with the aim of strengthening memory.

He added: “He used it on the first and second day, and on the third day he said he went to the company and tried to access his bank account several times and the account was closed because he forgot the password.”

He pointed out that it was possible that the cause was medication, stress, or other psychological or physical reasons that made him unable to remember the password.

The family medicine consultant sent a message to his followers, saying: Vitamins and nutritional supplements have manufacturing quality, and this quality differs from one drug to another or one product to another, in its effect on the body and in its absorption from the digestive system.

He explained that nutritional supplements contain minerals that may not be adequately absorbed by the digestive system, saying: “If you take a dose of a certain vitamin, your body may not fully benefit from it, because your absorption process is problematic.”

He advised that you consult a specialist before using these vitamins or any medicine related to health in general, whether therapeutic or preventive.

He added: “You must consult specialists because he will know your condition and what is appropriate for you, so that you do not face a problem like the one the man was exposed to.”
