In San Juan de Miraflores, a group of four criminals assaulted a poultry businessman and stole 150 thousand soles from him. However, upon being alerted to the events, the residents of the area intercepted the thieves and attempted to lynch them.

One of them was the one who received the most anger from the population, as they left him seriously injured and burned the motorcycle on which he intended to escape.

“One of them who was caught was taken away almost dead. “They have lynched him, they have burned his motorcycle,” a neighbor told Buenos Días Perú.

He was detained by a security guard at the Ciudad de Dios market along with one of his companions. Although the second was also beaten, the Police managed to prevent him from doing much damage by intervening among the crowd.

However, one of the thugs managed to escape aboard a motorcycle taxi along with another criminal and while fleeing he shot a fishing business merchant, who died on the way to the hospital.

He was escaping through the intersection of Samuel Villarán and Faustino Silba avenues and so that they would not follow him he fired shots into the air, but unfortunately it hit the 41-year-old merchant. The criminal left three minors orphaned.

As they continued to escape, the motorcycle taxi overturned and people who were chasing them tried to hold them, but the gunman once once more fired shots into the air to disperse their captors. Then, they continued their escape.

The merchants of the Ciudad de Dios market asked for more security, as they fear the increase in crime.

The detainees were identified as Luis Alejandro Garcia, of Venezuelan nationality, as well as the Peruvian Dani Junior Guevara; both under 25 years old.
