Miguel Enrique Villavicencio.- Through social intelligence work, officials from the Police Coordination Center № 04, arrested a woman who allegedly charged people by offering them to be treated in the different medical services of the Dr. Jesús María Casal Ramos University Hospital in Acarigua. -Araure.
The arrest of this person who was identified as Mary Yelitza Ramos Flores (46), a worker and residing in the Miraflores sector of Araure, took place this Thursday morning within the hospital facilities.
The police agency said that Ramos Flores apparently demanded a certain amount of money from patients or relatives in order to get him a kind of place in any free medical service at the hospital.
When she was detained by the police commission, three cell phones were found in her possession in which there was information regarding this illicit practice.
Ramos Flores has no police record.
This case was referred to the Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry with jurisdiction over corruption.
Recovered
In another procedure carried out in the Unión neighborhood, La Polar sector of Guanare, officials assigned to the “Santa María” Police Station managed to recover a vehicle that had been stolen hours before.

The vehicle recovered following being found abandoned is a tow truck, Mitsubishi brand, white, year 2006, plates 851EAF.
Both aforementioned procedures were carried out within the framework of the Safe Christmas 2023 device under the coordination of C/J Orlando Pacheco, director general of the Portuguese State Police.
