BMCE Capital Investmentsa subsidiary of the BMCE Capital group dedicated to Private Equity, announced on Friday the launch of “Capital Croissance”, its second OPCC investment fund (collective capital investment organization), aimed at supporting the development of Moroccan companies.
With a target size of 500 million dirhams (MDH), “Capital Croissance” has already raised nearly 285 million dirhams, thanks to the support of renowned Moroccan institutional investors, indicates BMCE Capital Investments in a press release.
The ambition of this fund is to stimulate and accelerate the development of the Moroccan real economy. Indeed, by strengthening the financial strength of national companies, the fund aims to help them reach new stages of development and growth, thus creating value and jobs in the medium and long term, the press release said.
Capital Croissance will constitute, during its investment period, a diversified portfolio, without sectoral constraints, by investing in a minority in companies mainly under Moroccan law with an annual turnover of between 30 MDH and 300 MDH.

The fund will provide the support necessary to achieve the growth objectives of the selected companies, both in Morocco and internationally.
Capital Croissance will favor internationally oriented companies (export or international establishment) or those which contribute to import substitution, thus promoting national industrial sovereignty.
In addition, the fund will seek to invest in companies with the ambition to commit to environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) issues, and mainly those with projects to create jobs, social inclusion or decarbonization.
This fund is approved by the Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC) under number AG/SPCC/002/2023 on June 9, 2023.
