The three suspects in the assassination of Magali W. (46 years old) and her daughter Coline (17 years old), perpetrated on March 24, 2022 in Kraainem, will be referred to the Assize Court, the Trial Chamber decided on Thursday. accusation from Brussels. The three suspects are Pierre D., the ex-partner of Magali W. and father-in-law of Coline, Beby N., a 39-year-old from Brussels of Congolese nationality, suspected of having killed the two women at the request of Pierre D. ., and Vincent L., a 36-year-old man from Libin, who allegedly put the two other individuals in contact.
It was Pierre D. himself who alerted the emergency services on the evening of the incident when he discovered a pool of blood in the entrance hall of the home. Emergency services found the inanimate bodies of the two victims, who had died from several stab wounds.
Pierre D. was quickly suspected and arrested, but initially denied the facts. He was then released by the indictment chamber in May 2022. But on September 2 of the same year, the man was once more arrested and placed under arrest warrant, at the same time as Beby N. Vincent L. was arrested four days later.
Beby N. came into the inspectors’ crosshairs when his DNA was found at the scene of the double murder. Telephone searches also revealed numerous telephone contacts between him, Vincent L. and Pierre D. The latter confessed in December 2022.
