The Korean Peninsula was frozen solid as the Arctic cold wave struck.

Today (21st), you must have felt the bitter wind all day long, and heavy snow fell on the west coast and Jeju Island.

Heavy snow warnings have been issued everywhere, and up to 20 centimeters of snow is forecast until tomorrow (22nd).

yes. As the night went on, the snowfall gradually became thicker and it was now difficult to see what was in front of me.

The snow that had fallen since the day before yesterday (the 19th) had piled up to my knees.

All ships are anchored in the port due to inclement weather.

Currently, a heavy snow warning has been issued for Gunsan, Buan, and Gochang in Jeollabuk-do, and a heavy snow warning has been issued for Gimje and Jeongeup.

The amount of snow that has fallen so far is the highest at 47 centimeters in Maldo, Gunsan, 30.8 centimeters above and below Gochang, and 27.1 centimeters in Saemangeum, Buan.

In Jeonbuk, 5 to 15 centimeters of snow will fall mainly on the west coast and Jeongeup until tomorrow (22nd), and in many places, more than 20 centimeters of snow will fall.

Due to heavy snowfall, all flights to Gunsan Airport were canceled, and five passenger ship routes to and from Jeonbuk Island, including Gunsan and Eocheong Island, were also blocked.

82 trails in 6 parks, including Naejangsan Mountain and Byeonsan Peninsula, were also blocked.

The bitter cold continues.

A cold wave warning was issued for the second day in all regions of Jeollabuk-do except Gochang and Buan, and a cold wave warning was issued for Muju and Jinan as of 9 p.m. a little while ago.

A strong wind warning has also been issued for Gochang, Buan, Gunsan, and Gimje.

The Jeonbuk region is expected to be bitterly cold tomorrow (22nd), with the lowest temperature in the morning being -16 degrees to -10 degrees.

The midday temperature will also remain between minus 6 degrees and minus 4 degrees, regarding 10 degrees lower than normal.
