His concerts are sold out within a very short time, his fans love the unmistakable sound between folk music, jazz, rock and pop: Herbert Pixner is stopping off at Burg Clam on August 10th as part of his tour. The South Tyrolean will not only present his new album, but also his expanded band: In addition to Manuel Randi (guitars), Werner Unterlercher (bass) and Ysaline Lentze (harp), Alessandro Trebo will also be there on the concert grand piano in 2024.
Herbert Pixner, who studied clarinet and Styrian harmonica following studying carpentry, is one of the most prominent representatives of new folk music, incorporating many different styles into his music.
This means that the Clam calendar for 2024 has once once more added another highlight. Guests include: ZZ Top on July 3rd, Take That (with Josh. and Matteo Bocelli in the opening act) on July 4th, Clam Rock (including Status Quo and Uriah Heep) on July 5th, Wanda and Sportfreunde Stiller on July 20th July, Herbert Grönemeyer on July 26th, Seiler and Speer together with Folkshilfe on July 27th and the new Salzburg “Everyman” Philipp Hochmair with his piece “Everyman Reloaded” on August 9th.
