Just a few years ago, Nolan Patrick was one of the top prospects in the world and had a promising future in the NHL.
Drafted second overall by the Philadelphia Flyers, the talented forward was unlucky as injuries multiplied, notably concussions which ultimately prevented him from fully flourishing in his career.
We learn today, according to journalist Dylan H. Robillard of The Hockey News, that Patrick made the difficult decision to hang up his skates due to his multiple concussions, he who is only in his mid- twenty but whose last match dates back to the 2021-22 season.
He has already decided on his post-career, he who will now act as a technical specialist, video coach and mentor within the company of another former NHLer, Jayce Hawryluk, which is called Power Play Dream Team.
- Aged 25, Nolan Patrick is a 1st round pick (2nd overall) in 2017. During his career, he compiled a record of 32 goals and 45 assists for a total of 77 points in 222 games with the Philadelphia Flyers and the Vegas Golden Knights.
