Bishkek – A shining sun in the national flag should bring Kyrgyzstan an upswing: Because the previous symbol was too reminiscent of a sunflower, the parliament in Bishkek approved a change to the flag design on Wednesday. 59 MPs voted in favor and only five once morest that the rays around the sun will in the future be “clearly reminiscent of the sun’s rays” – and thus, in their opinion, should indirectly ensure more economic growth.
