Telephone operators seem to be increasingly improving their services in Brazil. At least, that’s what a report by the OpenSignalwhich showed the Vivo, TIM and Claro as the leaders in the global ranking in terms of improving the experience of 5G networks, with very impressive numbers.
In relation to average download speed, the three companies mentioned managed to substantially improve the quality of the fifth generation of mobile network throughout this year. In this sense, Vivo managed to increase its numbers by 829%, followed by TIM, which increased by around 546.7% and Claro, which improved by around 469.7%.

When taking into account operators that operate in markets with a land area greater than 200 thousand km², the operators mentioned were located in Group I and dominated the ranking. However, this was not the only topic in which these companies showed some kind of prominence. TIM, for example, managed to obtain first position in improving 5G availability.
To give you an idea, the company’s customers observed that there was an increase of 559.8% in this regard between the first half of 2022 and the first half of 2023. In this same regard, Vivo came in third place, recording an increase of 222.7%. There is even the issue of signal improvement for online games.
At this point, Vivo reaches fourth place, showing an increase of 22.4%. Returning to the performance of the fifth generation mobile network, the distance becomes more evident when considering fourth place, occupied by the Thai company DTAC. In this case, it improved its average download speed by 147.9%.
