The second-hand market is booming in the world of homeware, in France and Morocco. This is evidenced by the partnership signed between the Vendéen Happy Cash (Sainte-Hermine) and the Marjane group.
Created more than 40 years ago, Happy Cash, a brand specializing in the purchase and sale of second-hand products, announces a partnership with the Marjane group, leader in distribution in Morocco. As part of a consulting contract, the Vendée group will support it in the development of its concept of purchase-resale of second-hand products. The first three sales spaces will be available in pilot stores from January 2024.
“We will, initially, support the Moroccan group in the development of the second-hand activity in Casablanca and Marrakech. We will bring our expertise and business experience to imagine with them the spaces within the stores, the organization of flows, the sourcing of products, supplies, etc. We will provide complete support as we do in France for all franchisees who join our network through our dedicated Qualiopi certified center,” indicates Pascal Lebert, president of the Happy Cash group. Which will be supported by a team of ten people to carry out this project in Morocco.
The Happy Cash group operates 160 points of sale (in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain and Germany) under the Happy Cash, Happy Troc and Happy Repair brands and claims a 2022 turnover of €126 million, up 8%. compared to 2021.
