MG has officially arrived in Romania, through the Quantum Auto Max importer. The British car brand MG, owned by the Chinese group SAIC, is on the wave, in terms of sales, in all European countries where it is marketed. MG aims to be an alternative to brands such as Dacia and Suzuki, in some places also to Volkswagen, Ford, Renault or Skoda.

Romania is the 23rd European market and the 9th country in Central and Eastern Europe where the MG brand enters. Operations have also started in Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Macedonia and Greece.
The start of MG car sales in our country was recently formalized by the signing of the distribution contract between MG Motor Europe and the Romanian importer Quantum Auto Max. The company is controlled by Dan Chitaru, the man who imports into Romania and KIA.
