DENVER (AP) — Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored with one second remaining as the Oklahoma City Thunder rallied to beat the Denver Nuggets 118-117 on Saturday.

Jalen Williams had 25 points and rookie Chet Holmgren added 17, in addition to grabbing 11 rebounds and achieving a career-high nine blocks for the Thunder. His previous record of blocks was seven once morest Cleveland, in his second NBA game.

Nikola Jokic had 24 points and 12 assists, while Michael Porter Jr. added 20 points. But that was not enough for the reigning NBA champions, who played without their point guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, included in the concussion protocol.

Denver saw its three-game winning streak snapped and lost for just the second time in 12 games. Those two losses have occurred in the last three games at Ball Arena.
