Around twenty children had a unique experience on Saturday, when they flew to the North Pole in the company of their loved ones.

Thanks to the initiative of the airline PAL, young people from precarious backgrounds were able to meet Father Christmas and Mother Christmas.
The event, back for a third edition in Quebec, made it possible to create magical moments thanks to several partners, including the Center for Social Pediatrics of Quebec.
“It’s a real privilege for us at the center, especially for the children, to be able to live this experience. For our part, the children we support live in a situation of great vulnerability,” shared the director of the organization, Jean-Christophe Nicolas.

“It’s a relief for them during the holiday season, when these are situations that are not necessarily easy for them. Sometimes, it allows them to perhaps forget their daily lives a little.”
Here are some testimonies from parents collected at the Jean-Lesage international airport in Quebec City upon returning from their short expedition:
“It was exceptional. My daughter won this, she was amazed!” pointed out a mother.

“It was the first time we took a plane, both for him and me. He knew we were going to the North Pole, to see Santa Claus, it was quite an adventure,” confides another woman.
