It was at the Headquarters of BGFI Holding Corporation that Mr. Henri Claude OYIMA, Chairman and CEO of the BGFIBank Group, was presented, by Mr. Mathieu GRATINI, Africa Manager of Bureau veritas, with the certification of BGFI Holding Corporation in relation to its compliance with the requirements applicable to the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
On December 15, 2023, BGFI Holding Corporation (BHC), parent company of the BGFIBank Group, obtained the prestigious ISO 9001 Version 2015 certification, following an initial audit conducted by the Bureau Veritas firm of Cameroon from October 16 to 18, 2023. This certification is a recognition of the operational effectiveness of the Quality Management System implemented by BGFI Holding Corporation during the year 2023, thus being part of the continuity of the activities of the BGFIBank Group Corporate Project DYNAMIQUE 2025. It constitutes a major step in the constant quest for excellence and strengthens the position of the BGFIBank Group as a major player in the African financial market.
An internationally recognized certification
We remind you that ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard which establishes the requirements relating to the Quality Management System. It is designed to help organizations ensure the satisfaction of their stakeholders and continuously improve their financial strength and financial performance.
“This certification is recognition of our commitment to providing quality services to our subsidiaries, relevant stakeholders and to continuously improving our performance. Also, In order to guarantee the common vision of building an African Financial Group for the world, it is imperative to accelerate the finalization of all the priorities identified in our DYNAMIC Business Project 2025, then continue to reinvent ourselves in order to consolidate the status as a partner for the future of all of our relevant stakeholders” declared Mr. Henri- Claude OYIMAChairman and CEO of the BGFIBank Group.
It is in the same spirit that the latter reiterated “In my capacity as 1st Manager of the Group’s Quality Management System and above all as guarantor of the quality approach within BGFI Holding Corporation, I reiterate my multifaceted support for the System of Quality Management (QMS), and commits myself to seeking sustainable and permanent performance, as well as to making available the necessary resources for the permanent improvement of the quality approach within all entities of the Group with the involvement of all employees. We are therefore convinced that this certification through its applicable requirements will be beneficial for strengthening the supervision of our subsidiaries and will contribute to their sustainable development from all points of view.”
In the presence of Directors and General Managers of companies in Gabon, the Chairman and CEO of the BGFIBank Group congratulated all the staff of BGFI Holding Corporation because of their total involvement in the application appropriation of the Quality policy of the BGFIBank Group and recommended to all its subsidiaries to finalize the implementation of their Quality approach before the end of the DYNAMIC Business Project 2025. In reality, the General Management of BGFI Holding Corporation, through the support of its leadership, has decided to maintain and push the current dynamic towards subsidiaries not yet certified to the ISO 9001 Standard.
