United States: A teenager cuts off a driver, he shoots her in the heart
A 17-year-old girl was shot dead by a motorist who did not appreciate that she crashed in front of him, during the night from Saturday to Sunday in Texas.

“Louise was a beautiful girl. (…) Think regarding that, think regarding what you deprived the world of, think regarding what she might have done.” It was with his voice broken by emotion that Daniel Wilson addressed his daughter’s murderer on Wednesday during a press conference in Houston, Texas. Louise, 17, died in her car during the night from Saturday to Sunday, reports the Huffington Post. The teenager had left her village of Whitney to go see the sun rise on a beach in Galveston, 430 kilometers further south. She was accompanied by her boyfriend and a friend.
It was around 1 a.m. when, according to police, Louise unintentionally cut into the path of a car traveling in the left lane while trying to avoid a vehicle braking in front of her. Once the teenager had pulled back, the motorist accelerated to reach her and fired several times. Touched to the heart, Louise still had time to stop her car on the side of the road, thus sheltering her two passengers and avoiding an accident. “She showed heroism (…) despite the injuries she suffered,” said Caleb Bowling, inspector with the Houston police.
Arriving on site, the police found Louise lifeless. One of the passengers was injured but his life was not in danger. The third was unhurt. The shooter fled and has not yet been identified. The police and the victim’s parents called on this person to “listen to his conscience” and turn himself in. “Louise was a wonderful girl, a wonderful soul, a great daughter, granddaughter and sister. A s***bag took his life in a senseless way. This should not have happened,” he told KTRK Leo Amoling’s uncle, the victim’s uncle.
