The Quick fast food brand continues to make a comeback in Lyon. A competitor to McDonald’s and Burger King, the brand is growing once more and will soon have five restaurants in the Lyon area.
A possible opening from January 10
A franchisee will open a new Quick restaurant in centre commercial from Lyon Part-Dieu in January 2024probably from the 10th of the month if everything is in order, according to information fromnews Lyon. Expected on the center’s restaurant floor, it will compete with Popeyes and KFC, of which it will be a direct neighbor.
The new restaurant will join the four others already present on rue de la République, in Confluence, Villeurbanne and Écully.

Franck Trichot, the franchisee who transformed his three Steak’n Shakes into Quick, announces: “It’s the return of Quick to the city of Lyon.” The Part-Dieu restaurant will be “the latest generation” in terms of service, decoration and reusable tableware, he explains.
After being bought by the Bertrand group in France, which develops Burger King, Quick was taken over by an American group, HIG Capital. The latter wants to change course and “redeploy the network”. HIG capital plans to double the number of Quick restaurants in France by 2026.
