The trial of Christophe Galtier began this morning in Nice. The former PSG coach is on trial for acts of moral harassment and discrimination during his time at the Gym (2021/2022), which he has always denied. The first elements arrive in the hands of the president of the court, Alain Chemama, such as this report from Jean-Pierre Rivère dated last April in which the Nice president charges Julien Fournier, the former sports director. It was the latter who triggered the affair by alerting his superiors at INEOS of Galtier’s behavior. “The last hand is Julien Fournier” Rivère explains to the police.

The reading of this report continues, some dates are imprecise, but the president of the court draws a conclusion. “This is what Julien Fournier will hold responsible who will be supported by several people on this issue, she appears there through the voice of Jean-Pierre Rivère”. During this hearing, the Nice president believes that Fournier wanted to drag Galtier down. “What bothers me is that when Julien Fournier understood that he was going to lose his position and that Christophe Galtier was, according to him, responsible. He decided to kill it professionally.” At the end of this trial, Galtier risks up to 3 years in prison and a fine of 45,000 euros.
